The AC(E)-X is a purpose-built filament dry box designed specifically for the Anycubic Kobra X. It offers a clean, practical, and fully printable solution to protect your filament from dust and moisture!—without the need for any additional hardware.
Engineered for simplicity, the AC(E)-X requires no complicated assembly!
Every component is fully 3D printable, making it accessible and easy to produce on your own printer.
Unlike the original spool holders, this design eliminates the hassle of threading spools from the side. Simply place your filament rolls directly into the box—quick, convenient, and user-friendly.
The enclosure not only keeps your filament clean but also helps maintain dryness, improving print quality and consistency over time.

Printing:
Prints perfect in PLA+
Box Left and Right are mirrored. Plate 1 = Left & Plate 2 = Right
Lid and rollers stay the same.
Assembly:
➔ Place the 4 rollers into the Box - Grease them at the ends slightly for best performance.
➔ Slide the unit from the back over the frame
➔ Place the mounting bracket from the front. It should snap in. Screw two M3x10 from the front and one M3 from underneath to fix the position.
➔ Insert the PTFE tubes. Let them extend a few millimeters beyond the opening, then wrap them with a carefully cut piece of duct tape. This prevents the PTFE tube from accidentally slipping out.
➔ Manage the PTFE routing ---- Enjoy the compact Design
Tip: You can use a duct tape on the back to get a nice hinge ;)
