One Piece Custom Chess Set
An exclusive chess set inspired by the world of One Piece, featuring a pirate ship-themed board and highly detailed pieces. The board has been crafted to mimic the deck of a pirate ship, perfectly blending aesthetics and functionality into a fully playable display piece.
Assembly Guide
To make 3D printing easier, the chessboard is divided into 4 separate interlocking sections. Putting it together is straightforward:
- Connect the 4 board sections to form the main deck.
- The ship's masts utilize a snap-fit joints system.
- To assemble them, gently push the piece in while applying a slight twisting motion.
- Do not force the joints. Take your time to prevent bending or snapping the components.
- The sand-colored squares feature the iconic Straw Hat Pirates Jolly Roger engraved on them.
Design Note: I deliberately chose to engrave the emblem on only half of the light squares to keep the design clean and sophisticated. Adding the logo to every single square would have cluttered the board, making it harder to read during a match. This balance honors the One Piece theme while ensuring an optimal gameplay experience.
Crucial Printing Info
⚠️ It is vital to use the print profiles and settings included in this project. The character models are highly detailed and have been fully optimized based on these specific configurations. Altering the parameters may degrade the final quality and wipe out fine details, particularly on the miniatures. For the best outcome, stick strictly to the provided print profiles.
Support Removal Tips
Most of the supports have been engineered for hassle-free removal. However, please keep the following in mind:
- Work slowly and patiently.
- Some miniature details are extremely fragile.
- Never rip or yank the supports away.
- We highly recommend using precision flush cutters and small hobby tools to clean up the prints.
With a little care, removing the supports will be a breeze, leaving all the intricate details perfectly intact.
