This matters because clearance is a property of your printer, not of the bearing. Keeping it identical across the whole family means that once you have dialled in one size, every other size behaves the same way.

Three things that decide whether it spins
1. Calibrate your flow. The gap is 0.15 mm. Over extrusion of 5 percent closes it and the bearing comes out as a solid disc.
2. Set elephant foot compensation. First layer squish is what fuses the balls to the race at the bottom. This is the single most common failure.
3. Break it in. Straight off the bed it will feel locked. Grip the outer ring, twist the inner ring firmly, you will feel it click free, then spin it a few times. That is normal and by design.
Material
PLA gives the crispest detail and the best separation. PETG runs smoother once freed but strings into the races, so slow the travel moves down. ABS and ASA work, though shrinkage eats into the clearance.
An honest note on the thin series
Sizes 6800 through 6803 carry balls of only 2.52 mm, up to 25 per row. They are geometrically correct and they slice, but on a 0.4 mm nozzle they sit right at the edge of what FDM can separate.
Print one before you commit to a set, and drop to a 0.12 mm layer height. Everything from 6804 upwards is comfortable.
The sizes are real
These are ISO 15:2017 standard dimensions, so anything designed around a real 6002 will accept the printed one.
Useful for prototypes, jigs, camera rigs, lazy susans, spinners, filament spool holders and dusty places where you would rather not sacrifice a steel bearing.
